From the tournament desk

Matches will be at Mira Costa HS and other South Bay tennis facilites. Specific location will be posted on Wed. before the tournament with the draw.

First 2 rounds are on Saturday. Semis and finals will be on Sunday. Consolation will begin on Sunday. If you lose, first round you will automatically be placed in consolation. If you do not want to play consolation, email wctennis@bradycamps.com immediately after the match.

32 players accepted in each division. If more than 16 entered, players will be waterfalled into 2 separate draws. Selection and seeding is based on USTA ranking top-down.

Draws will be posted on Wed. before the tournament. No time avoidance requests accepted. Your weekend should remain open for the tournament until draws are posted. We will not know any approximate or specific start times until draw is posted.

Main Draw format: 2 out of 3 sets(regular scoring) with 10-point tiebreak for 3rd set.

Consolation format: 8 game pro set(no-ad) with tiebreaker at 8-all.

Trophies will be awarded to finalists of each division.

Parents may watch but coaching or parent involvement is not allowed. Extreme cases can be penalized by the referee.

According to USTA policy, there are no refunds after the deadline and player selection.

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 6?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

Can we enter two divisions?

One event per player at this tournament. Pick the age group that matches your junior's birth year, or the one up if they are ready for it.

When do we know?
