In order to compete in this event, all competitors MUST click the below link to fill out the check-in form, and sign the waiver for this tournament. Please note: this is NOT a registration for the tournament. You must still register for the tournament and until you are selected, your entry into the tournament is not confirmed by completing the below forms. However, these forms must be completed to participate in the tournament.

To Find a Doubles Partner, follow these steps:
• Click the link above to complete the tournament waiver.
• Create a FREE account or log in to Match Tennis App by clicking the link above.
• Search for and click on our tournament details page inside of Match Tennis App.
• Click the “Find A Doubles Partner” button and add your player’s name to the doubles list.
• Then contact and be contacted by others looking for a doubles partner.
Once a partner is secured, you MUST add your partner details to your waiver form by logging into Match Tennis App and going to My Account>Completed Waivers>Tournament Name>Add Doubles Partner Details>Click Update.
The doubles pairing service is privatized through Match Tennis App, so you do NOT have to share any personal contact info with others unless you choose to do so!
The deadline to indicate doubles partner is Monday, September 7th, at 12:00 noon EST. Any player remaining after this deadline will be removed from doubles.

Boys' Doubles 12 & under, Boys' Singles 12 & under, Boys' Doubles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 14 & under, Girls' Doubles 12 & under, Girls' Singles 12 & under, Girls' Doubles 14 & under, Girls' Singles 14 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.

1. DRAW, SCORING FORMATS, DRAW PUBLICATION, EARLIEST MATCH START TIMES
Singles Draws will be a 32 draw, with a feed in consolation through the Round of 16. There will be a 5-8 playoff, and a 3/4 playoff. Doubles will be a 16 team, single elimination tournament with a 3/4 playoff.
• Singles: Best 2 of 3 tiebreak sets, 10-point match tiebreak in lieu of a third set, regular scoring
• Doubles: 8-game pro-set with 7-point tiebreak at 8 games all, no add scoring
2. TOURNAMENT SITES & AMENITIES
Locations: Smith Stearns Tennis Academy is located at the Sea Pines Racquet Club within The Sea Pines Resort. The address is 5 Lighthouse Lane, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. We will also use the South Beach Racquet Club and the Sea Pine Country Club which are both in Sea Pines, so only 10 minutes away from the main site. There is parking at the Racquet Club, South Beach Racquet club, and the Sea Pine Country Club.

7. SCHEDULE OF PLAY
(subject to change) Saturday: 2 singles matches, 1 doubles match. Sunday: 2 singles matches, 2 doubles match. Monday: 1 doubles matches, followed by 1 singles match except for consolation, which can have 2.
8. PRACTICE COURTS
The day prior to the tournament, we will have 4 courts set aside for practice available on a first come, first serve basis. After 4:30PM, all courts will be available at the Sea Pines Racquet Club and may be used for practice on a first come first serve basis. During tournament days, courts may be used to warm up starting a 7am through 7:45am when matches start being assigned to courts. We will also have 4 hard courts available throughout the day to warm up at anytime on a first come first serve basis. They are located only a few minutes from the main site, down on the corner of lighthouse road and plantation road, access can be made throught the lighthouse tennis villas parking lot located at 85 Lighthouse Rd, Hilton Head Island, SC 29928. The code for the door is 4555. PLease do not use the hard courts at Inland harbor or racquet club villas court.
9. STRINGING
Racquets may be turned into the Sea Pines Racquet Club Pro Shop for stringing throughout the tournament. The turnaround is about 24 hours. The cost for stringing is $25.
10. HOTEL INFORMATION
Please follow the provided link to secure lodging through the Sea Pines Resort. It is highly recommended to stay there for convenience and to be able to take advantage of the resorts many ammenities.
On-site alternates must check in with the referee at the site tournament desk 45min prior to the first round matches. Players must be ready to play. If a spot becomes available, the opportunity will go to the highest seeded player checked in for that division. Once all division first round matches have begun, the alternate(s) will be released.

Trainer: An athletic trainer will be on site at Sea Pines Racquet Club from 30 minutes prior to the start of matches through matches being completed that day.

Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family member, coaches and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”
