Player selections have been made using the 9/2/26 National Standing List Combined.
Players not selected have been placed on the ordered alternate list. If you are an alternate, please read the information below.

• If you are high on the list, be sure to check your texts and emails regularly. We will contact you and give you a deadline to reply.

• If you would like to sign up for another tournament, you must email us to withdraw. You cannot register for more than one tournament happening on the same dates.
• Per USTA regulations, players selected for this tournament must immediately contact the tournament director of any other concurrent event(s) they registered for and formally request withdrawal.
• This requirement includes withdrawing from alternate lists. Failure to withdraw from an alternate list in another tournament will result in 4 USTA suspension points.
Doubles Pairings & Deadlines
• If you are playing doubles, both partners must send an email to confirm the pairing by Monday, September 7, at 6:00 PM EDT .
• Players without a confirmed partner by the deadline will be withdrawn from the doubles event.
• If you are on the singles alternate list but paired for doubles, you must email us by the Monday deadline to confirm whether you intend to play doubles-only if you do not get into singles.
• All players must complete the pre-tournament waiver and registration via the Match Tennis App by Wednesday, September 9, at 6:00 PM EDT .
• Court assignments, match check-ins, and score reporting will be run exclusively through the app throughout the weekend.

Boys' Singles 12 & under, Boys' Doubles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 14 & under, Boys' Singles 16 & under, Boys' Singles 18 & under, Girls' Singles 14 & under, Girls' Singles 16 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
When do we know?

Important Notice to All Players Re: Concurrent Tournaments
USTA Regulations state the following:
• Player shall not enter two tournaments at same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments overlap unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing. After a player has been eliminated from a tournament whose schedule of play partially overlaps with that of a second tournament, the player may enter the second tournament.
(USTA REGULATIONS IV.C. (Standards of Conduct),2022 Friend at Court, #s 12 through #17 apply).
Penalty: (4) Suspension points to player in violation per offense, enforced by either Tournament Committee, and/or USTA Administration.
SIGNING UP FOR TWO DIVISIONS
At this time, players may only sign up for one age division in Singles and Doubles because we cannot support players signing up for two age divisions.
YOU MUST PLAY THE SAME AGE DIVISION FOR SINGLES AND DOUBLES
Per STA rules for all National Level 3-5's, you must play the same doubles division as your chosen singles division.

PLAYER & SPECTATOR GUIDELINES
• If you do not feel comfortable playing tennis- DO NOT PLAY .
Only play if you are comfortable playing. Each person is responsible for his or her own safety during these unknown challenging times. BE SAFE.
• If you are sick with any symptoms at ALL, DO NOT ATTEND OR PLAY A MATCH!
Ultimately, however, it is up to each player/parent to decide whether to participate in any event. Further, every player is expected to take all reasonable precautions to protect themselves.
NEW PROCESS TO DECLARE RESIDENCY ON PLAYER PROFILE - UPDATED 2/24/21
As of February 24, 2021, players that register for Level 1-4 tournaments will need to declare their residency on their player profiles. This action will only need to be done once. Please see the below links for more information on how to do this:

NEW SELECTION & SEEDING PROCESS (EFFECTIVE 5/14/21)
As of May 14, 2021, the Southern Junior Competitive Committee has approved the selection process for Level 3 Closed – Level 5 Open tournaments to return to the original selection process.
All selections will be off the National Standing List.
Seeding will be completely off the National Standing List as well.
PLAYER REST REQUIREMENTS
• Any time of the year- Doubles followed by singles- A minimum of 30 minutes is required between the completion of the first doubles match of the day prior to starting singles play.
• During the months from May 1st to October 1st -Singles followed by singles- Players shall be given a minimum of two hours rest between the completion of the first singles match of the day and the start of the second singles match of the day.
• During the Months of October 1st to May 1st- Singles followed by singles- Players shall be given a minimum of 90 -minute rest between completion of the first singles match of the day and the start of the second match of the day.
• Singles followed by doubles- Players shall be given a minimum of one hour rest between any singles match (First or second of the day) and a doubles match. • **** If player’s match is longer than two hours, during the months of May 1st to October 1st, they may request (in person) more time from the Tournament referee. Time extension may not be guaranteed.
Safe Play Proactive Policy Highlights
LATE ENTRY - USTA SOUTHERN POLICY
If draws are not full, late entries can be accepted. Late entries may be accepted or placed on the alternate list in the order received after entries received by the deadline. Entries received at the same time are ordered randomly. If the draw has been made the Tournament Committee may accept only late entries of players who do not invalidate the seeding. Tournament Directors may charge an additional $25 late entry fee.
DEFAULT NO-SHOW POLICY
Players are expected to play all matches including main draw and consolation. It is mandatory to notify the tournament director in written communication (via email) that a player needs to withdraw. Failure to notify the Tournament Director via email will receive a “Default No-Show” and 5 suspension points per the USTA Suspension Point System (USTA Regulations IV.F.)
STANDARDS OF CONDUCT
Players, persons who appear to be associated with a player (including, but not limited to, parents and coaches), officials, and organizers of any tournament are under a duty to encourage and maintain high standards of proper conduct, fair play, and good sportsmanship. They are under an obligation to avoid acts that may be considered detrimental to the game of tennis. Detrimental acts include, but are not limited to, the acts set forth in USTA Regulation IV.C (Standards of Conduct). Friend at Court
