Counts are live from USTA as of the last hour. Selection is by ranking list: a full draw still takes alternates, and unranked juniors get in when a draw is not full.

PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use the National Combined Standing List for player selection. The Singles Seeding List will be used for splitting and seeding draws. Players will be flighted/seeded by ranking 1-16 into the first flight, and flighted/seeded 17-32 by ranking into the second flight. If it's not a full draw, we will split the draws evenly. Also, we will not split draws with less than 16 players. There will simply be one draw for those divisions. For example: There are 17 players in a division. Draw A will have 9 players and Draw B will have 8 players.
***You must play in the same age group for singles and doubles. However, you can play in any age group in mixed doubles that you are eligible for because we are playing that in one day.***
Match Schedule:
Mixed Doubles Start Times
Every player that signs up for mixed doubles must be available to play 3:30 pm matches on Friday. The mixed Doubles format will be a regular set to six with a first-match loser consolation. We will play the Mixed Doubles on Friday only.
Mixed Doubles Scoring Format
We will be playing a six-game pro set with NO-AD scoring. On the deuce point, the boy will serve to the other boy, and the girls will serve to the other girls.

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Fri, Sep 18, 5:59pm EDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
Text Coach Ace at (213) 410-2440 with your junior's name and division. Ace keeps the file: deadline, selections, draws, and what to do the night before.
