This is a National Level 7 One Day Singles and Doubles Tennis Tournament. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected, and your credit card is charged. Players and parents must return to the tournament page to view the draw and confirm the match times for their player. Sunday will only be used if we are rained out on Saturday.

Free USTA Membership to play

Any Junior players looking to participate in USTA Sanctioned play opportunities such as programs, leagues, and tournaments will need to have a USTA Account and Membership associated with a Parent or Guardian.

MATCH FORMATS

The only singles match formats used in a National Level 7 are round robins (with play-offs if needed) and compass draws. The only singles scoring format used is two short sets to 4 (win by two), 7-point tiebreak at one set all. No ad scoring will be used.

Doubles match Format is one set to 6 games, 7-point tiebreak at 6 games all. No Ad scoring.

DRAWS

The draw and match schedule will be posted by 6 p.m. on the Friday prior to the tournament start date.

SELECTION

National Selection Combined Standing List will be used for selections into tournament. Selections will be made from the bottom up by ranking.

POINTS PER WIN

This tournament carries with it USTA National Level 7 points per win. Maximum of 4 wins per division. Please click here for the point tables.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUND POLICY

Before the deadline, withdraw on USTA.com in the My Schedules tab on your profile with no charge. After the registration deadline, email the tournament director. Refunds are only available for players who do not complete a match due to inclement weather or cancellation of the tournament. Clayton County P&R does not offer a refund only a credit for a future tournament of the same type. If there is a refund, it would be minus the fixed costs of the tournament. Note: the Serve Tennis fee is non-refundable.

Will my junior get in?

No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.

What is a Level 7?

The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.

When do we know?
