Junior Player Travel Assistance
USTA Alabama offers financial assistance to eligible junior players (ages 12–18) competing in Alabama and Southern team events. Applicants must be Alabama residents and meet income eligibility requirements. Funding of up to $750 is available to help cover travel-related expenses such as fuel, lodging, meals, and tournament entry fees. Awards are considered on a case-by-case basis and require proper documentation of expenses.

Draw Size
Draws will be a maximum of 16 players. We will split all draws 17+ into Red/Blue divisions. Draws posted Thursday 9/14 by noon.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Tue, Dec 8, 4:59pm CST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
