Matches will start at 3:00 pm central time Friday December 18th
Matches will start at 8:00 am central time Saturday December 19th

Pratice courts insode will be available on Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am-7:50am
Outdoor courts will be closed for all players throughout the weekend.
SCORING FORMAT: All Main Draw Boy's and Girl's Doubles will play two sets to 6 with a Match TB (10 pts) in lieu of 3rd set. NO - AD scoring in all games.

Mixed Doubles will play one set to 8 games with a TB at 8-8. No-ad scoring in all games.
Boy's and Girl's Doubles Consolation Matches will be 8 games with TB at 8-8 . Gender Doubles will most often be scheduled before Mixed Doubles. Coaching at the court fence is permitted before the Match TB (3 minutes).
Playing Sites: All matches will be played Indoors at Richland CC.
The Playing surface is Hard Courts.
Draw Size: 16 teams. Consolation for Rd of 16 & Quarterfinals. Playoff for 3rd place.
NO - AD scoring in all matches.
Players will be selected by Southern using the most current National Seeding List for Singles. If a Division does not fill its 16 team draw, Late Entries will be accepted until Tuesday, December 16th at 5pm for gender doubles and Wednesday, December 17th for Mixed Doubles. Individuals looking for partners will use Match Tennis App to secure a partner prior to the deadline. Teams may also be added to the alternate list as long as they would not violate the seedings.
Practice Court information will be posted two weeks before the tournament.
Players: You may enter different age divisions for Doubles and Mixed Doubles (New decision by Southern as of 11/1/21)
Stringing will be available at the Pro Shop
There is no Trainer for Level 5 events.

New Selection + Seeding Process (Effective May 14, 2021)
As of May 14, 2021, the Southern Junior Competitive Committee has approved the selection process for Level 3 Closed – Level 5 Open tournaments to return to the original selection process.
All selections will be off the Combined National Standing List of September 13th.
Seedings will be made through the National Standing Doubles List of September 13th.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6.
When do we know?
