Will my junior get in?
Boys' Doubles 16 & under, Girls' Doubles 16 & under, Girls' Singles 16 & under are full; the rest have room. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 2?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?

USTA Eligibility Information: In order to participate in this event, the player must meet the USTA Eligibility requirements that are listed here .
Player Selection- The September 16th NSL will be used for selections.
Player Entry and Selection Procedure: This Tournament is part of a Level 2 Tournament Block . Please click here to view the complete policy for multiple entries in a USTA Level 2 Open tournament.
If you want to play in a USTA National Level 2 Tournament but are unsure if you will get in, you may enter up to two different age divisions of up to four sites of USTA National Level 2 tournaments. When selection is done, players are selected for the oldest age division first, based on the most recently published National Standing List of the division of the tournament.
If you are selected into the older age division entered, you will not be considered for the younger age division. If you are not selected into the older age division, you will only be considered for selection into the younger division, and if you are not selected into the younger division, you will only be eligible to be an alternate in the younger division.
Additionally, the computerized selection system attempts to fill the draws based on the first choice of sites of all players. If spots are still open, it looks at the second choice of sites for the remaining players, then the third, and, finally, the fourth. Once a player is selected at one location, they are removed from consideration for other locations they may have registered for. It is VERY IMPORTANT to only prioritize sites you are willing to play. Players will not be selected into two locations.
Those players who have not been selected after all four USTA National Level 2 Tournament draws have been filled shall be placed on the alternate lists at all tournaments for which the players have indicated a preference. The players are ordered on the alternate lists based on the player’s standing on the National Selection List used to select players.
Sportsmanship and the USTA Champion’s Pledge : All participants shall familiarize themselves with The Code which is meant to be a guide to fair play. By participating in the tournament, all players agree to abide by the USTA Champion’s Pledge: “I promise to: Compete with the true spirit of Sportsmanship; Have fun; Always give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent; Manage my emotions and be respectful to my opponent, tournament officials, and parents; Play to win with grace and lose with dignity; Invest time in knowing the rules; Obey the rules and respect the officials’ decisions; Never quit!”
Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family members, coaches, and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches, and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”

Organizer information
The Palmetto Tennis Center located in Sumter, South Carolina has 24 lighted DecoTurf courts and 8 Red clay courts. There is a full service pro shop. Also on site there are both men's and women's locker rooms with 3 private shower stalls in each. The center has been honored as an Outstanding Tennis Facility by the USTA in 2004 and 2018, as well as USTA SC Member Facility of the Year in 2010. PTC hosts several large tournaments. Those events include Adult USTA and Junior Tournaments, ITA College Tournaments, the USTA 12s Zonals, ATP 125 and current host of an ITF J200 Clay Court event, the Boys and Girls 16's National Level 2 and 2 Women's Pro Circuit events JUCO College Nationals. There is a full service pro shop on site, with full time PTR/USPTA certified tennis professionals on staff.
