Special note:
The "A. David Filer Memorial Tournament" is special; it goes beyond tennis. We'd like you to know David's story. Tennis is a journey and we were fortunate to cross paths with the Filer family. Not only was David one of the top junior players in the country, he was a great kid. At 15 years old the unthinkable happened. He was diagnosed with brain cancer. David battled cancer for 13 months. He lived that time through faith with strength, courage, and determination. Ultimately, David wanted to make an everlasting impact, he chose to donate his brain and spine to the "Gift from a Child" program. David's hope was that through research, a cure would be found. At 16 years of age David was mature beyond his years. As you continue your tennis journey, remember David Filer, play with passion, play fair, make friends, be grateful and be present in each moment.
**A donation from this tournament will be made to "Gift from a Child" in A. David Filer's name.
Before David passsed away he chose to donate his brain and spine to "Gift From A Child" which empowers brain tumor research through tissue donation . The link to that organization is listed below.

COMMUNICATION - there are always going to be lots of questions. THIS TOURNAMENT HOMEPAGE IS HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH YOU ALL THE INFORMATION WE KNOW.
• EMAIL IS THE BEST WAY TO COMMUNICATE - jennifer@tennisdynamics.net or jp@tennisdynamics.net For most of your questions or concerns, we will have to be at the computer to help you. So please email and include a cell number in case we have to call you.
• SINGLES SCHEDULES: We will come up with the times as soon as we can.
• 2 PLAYER ROUND ROBINS - The new system cannot do the 2 player round robins as is required by USTA GA. What traditionally happens is the two players play once and then play again. We can get the first required match handled and will use a work around to get the second match played.
• DOUBLES - IN ADDITION TO USING THE APP, YOU MUST EMAIL YOUR DOUBLES PARTNER NAME TO US.
• For anything we have not addressed, email your question to jennifer@tennisdynamics.net or jp@tennisdynamics.net. We will continue to update this page with any new info as we all navigate through this new system.

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 6?
The entry point of USTA junior tennis. One or two days, local, no ranking needed to enter, and every win earns ranking points. The right first tournament.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Mon, Nov 2, 5:59pm EST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
