Matches planned to be held between 5:00-8:00 pm on Friday, October 16th
Location: North Hills Club (4824 Yadkin Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609)
There will be a 5-minute warmup before your first match. Warmup courts will not be available prior to the event, our alloted time for this event begins at 5:00, any time before that is open to member only play. Check-in at the tournament desk on-site.
**We will have an on-site tournament desk. We will NOT be using Match tennis app. You will check-in for the tournament at the tournament desk.
We have water coolers on the courts and the Pro Shop will be open until 7:00 pm
TARGET AUDIENCE

• Junior tennis players between the ages of 8-18
• Orange, green, or yellow ball players
• Expected to be able to serve, maintain a rally, know how to keep score, and have some competitive tennis experience
• 10 & under players may receive PlayTracker points
• No ranking points are awarded for any age group • FORMAT • Round Robin with a minimum of 2 matches and no more than 4 matches. (This is determined by the number of registered players.)
• SCORING • All play is NO-AD
• Scoring format must be chosen from these four options and may be determined according to the number of registrants, courts, time, etc.
• One set to 4 with deciding game played at 3 all, OR
• One set to 6 with deciding game played at 5 all, OR
• Two short sets to 4 with deciding game played at 3 all and 7-point tiebreaker if needed for third (4-3, 3-4 (4))
• Orange ball divisions may use 15- or 20-minute timed matches (may also be used for court constraints such as indoor time or rental blocks)
• SELECTION • We will select as many players as possible given court space and time allotted for this event.
• First come first served entry, unless otherwise indicated on tournament homepage
• May use PlayTracker points, WTN ratings, or other pertinent data to flight the players by level

Format
• Players will be assembled in groups of 3, 4 or 5 players and matches will be played using a rouind robin format playing 1 set to 4 games, NO AD, with the deciding game at 3-3 (first to 4 games; a valid score can be 4-3). Players can expect to play between 2 and 4 matches based on the number of players in each flight. We will select as many players as possible with court space and time alloted for the event.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Junior Circuit?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
