On-Site Alternates: Players may be admitted into the singles main draw to replace withdrawing players until the completion of the first round of play. Any player receiving a bye in the first round can also be replaced by an on-site alternate in the second round because this player has not yet played a match in the event. On each day in which alternates may be accepted into a draw, any alternate desiring admittance must check in and be ready for play no later than 15 minutes prior to the first scheduled match time of the event. The order of the alternates is based on the original Alternate List published by the tournament, not a more recent NSL, and not in the order in which the players check in.

Questions parents ask
Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Level 3?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Thu, Feb 4, 4:59pm CST). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
