Corley Cup

Format:

Singles -first match loss consolation with a 3rd-4th place playoff. Scoring format is 2 out of 3 tiebreak sets, no ad, with a match tiebreak in lieu of third set with Quarterfinals through Finals playing 2 out of 3 full tiebreak sets with no ad scoring.

Doubles -single elimination with 3rd-4th playoff. Scoring format is 8 game pro set no ad scoring. Quarterfinals on will be playing 2 out of 3 full tiebreak sets with no ad scoring.

Expectations:

Sportsmanship is of the utmost importance. Our high school players have demonstrated particular excellence in this area and expect this to continue throughout the tournament.

Commitment to Play is expected of all players. This means that you should complete all of your matches unless illness,injury or other unforeseen circumstance prohibits play. Players have come from all around the state anticipating a full complement of play.

Boys and Girls Singles and Doubles. Your doubles partner does not have to be from the same school.

Check in 15 minutes prior to your match time. Check in will be at the Albuquerque Academy Racquet Center Courts. Signage will be on site to the courts.

Officials are on site each day and final matches will be chair officiated. For those not familiar with officials being present, they are here to guide, educate and if necessary, impose consequences as stated by the USTA rules that govern this event.

8th graders - must have a written approval from the high school head coach that you will be representing the high school as a varsity player
