Players, Parents, and Coaches PLEASE READ CAREFULLY all the INFORMATION BELOW.
Welcome to the second in a series of 4 fall 10U tournaments.
This event will be held at Phoenix Tennis Center.
This tournament is for players who have tournament/match play experience . The tournament is a compass draw or round robin, which means that every player will play 2-4 matches, whether they win or lose their matches. Players who are unable to commit to playing all day Sunday should not enter, since the draws require that all players remain in the draw. We will make every attempt to give players at least 2 matches, but we cannot guarantee this, since players may withdraw.
The event starts at 7 a.m. but not all divisions start at 7 . Divisions will play in "blocks" meaning a division that starts at 7 will play subsequent matches one after the other until all matches are completed. The next group of divisions will play in the next blocked period throughout the day. Therefore, some divisions will start their block later in the day.
Players should be fully independent on court (can play without any help from spectators, coaches or tournament staff) should know the rules of tennis, the scoring format, and can serve, rally and keep score themselves.

• Selection and Draw Postings: Players will be selected after the entry deadline has passed. Players will receive an email confirming that they have been selected. Draws will be posted no later than Wednesday at noon the week of the event.
Players are responsible for checking the tournament website for their draw, match time and schedule. The tournament will not email players their match times. Draws can be found on the tournament website under the “draws” tab. Find your gender/age division (event) and look to see if there are multiple groups in the drop down for your event. You will need to look for your name and the match time prior to the start of the tournament. There could be 2, 3 or more draws in each division depending on entries.
Tournament Format: All players are guaranteed at least 2 matches and should be prepared to play up to 4. Due to the format players are expected to stay until the tournament is completed. Players will not leave if they have lost a match, since they will continue to play win or lose.

Per USTA regulations, coaching is not permitted in tournaments for ranking other than specific team events. This event is not for ranking. We are piloting coaching/support parameters to assist players. See below for parameters and details:

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection is by ranking list, so a junior with no ranking can still get in when a draw is not full, and goes on the alternate list when it is.
What is a Junior Circuit?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points.
When do we know?
