CHANGE IN USTA REGULATION ON SPECTATOR MISCONDUCT: In March, 2022, the USTA modified USTA Regulation XIX.G pertaining to the conduct of spectator's associated with a player. The regulation now states: A player who enters a sanctioned tournament or match consents to being penalized under the Point Penalty System and the USTA Suspension Point System for any unsportsmanlike conduct, including conduct by a person associated with the player. Persons who are unsportsmanlike may be asked by any member of the Tournament Committee or any official representative of the tournament to desist and/or to leave the tournament site, and must comply.

This means the player can be point penalized for spectator sportsmanship misconduct and subject to suspension points. Spectators should refrain from interfering in matches for any reason and should not address or make comments to their player's opponent. Coaching is prohibited in USTA sanctioned play unless a specific team event. Code violations include loss of point (1st violation), loss of game (section violation) and default (third violation). 2 suspension points per violation. will also be assessed to the player. An accumulation of 10 suspension points in a rolling year result in the suspension of the player from USTA play for 3 months (first violation.) Spectators may also be removed from the facility by a member of the Tournament Committee.

THIS IS A RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENTTucson Tennis Management LLC/RST/Reffkin Tennis Center/City of Tucson (TTM/RST/RTC/COT) sponsors various tennis activities and events, including, but not limited to, tournaments, leagues, group and individual instruction, workshops, court rental and usage (each, an "Event" and collectively, the "Events").

BY ENTERING/REGISTERING AND IN CONSIDERATION of being permitted to participate in any way in the EVENT(S), ALL PARTICIPANTS AGREE, for him/herself, his/her personal representatives, heirs, and next of kin:

1. HEREBY RELEASES, WAIVES, DISCHARGES AND COVENANTS NOT TO SUE {TTM/RST/RTC/COT} , and all of their directors, officers, agents, volunteers and employees,(hereinafter referred to as "Releasees") FROM ALL LIABILITY TO THE UNDERSIGNED, his/her personal representatives, assigns, heirs and next of kin FOR ANY AND ALL LOSS OR DAMAGE, AND ANY CLAIM OR DEMANDS THEREFORE ON ACCOUNT OF INJURY AND/OR EXPOSURE TO INFECTIOUS SYNDROMES OR DISEASES TO THE PERSON OR PROPERTY OR RESULTING IN ILLNESS AND/OR DEATH OF THE UNDERSIGNED ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE EVENT(S), WHETHER CAUSED BY THE NEGLIGENCE OF THE RELEASEES OR OTHERWISE. BY PARTICIPATING OR ATTENDING THIS EVENT YOU ASSUME ALL RISKS WHETHER KNOWN OR UNKNOWN.
