What is a USTA Level 4 tournament?
Their section's big events. Deeper fields and up to four days.
How many points is a Level 4 worth?
Main-draw points go by the round reached: the champion earns 540, the finalist 405, a semifinalist 270 and a quarterfinalist 189. The round a player starts in earns nothing, so losing the first match earns nothing from the main draw. Each consolation round won adds 19.
How should we get ready for a Level 4?
Start 4 weeks out. Coach Ace's free Level 4 guide covers what the day looks like, what to pack, the mental game, and food and water, with a 4-week plan, because these run longer.
