LEVEL 6 TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:

2 Day Tournament

This is a Points Per Win tournament with a minimum of one round of consolation (consolation match may not be available if the draw doesn't fill)

Compass Draws or Round Robin

A withdrawal or walkover may be considered a scheduled match

Maximum of 4 rounds played in the main (East) draw

Selection and Seeding is “top down” from the National Standings List published on the date entries close

Concurrent Tournament Violation

If you are entered in this tournament and also in another tournament scheduled for the same weekend you have violated the concurrent tournament rule. IF YOU ARE ON TWO OR MORE APPLICANT LISTS WHEN ENTRIES CLOSE, YOU WILL BE PENALIZED BY THE MIDDLE STATES OFFICE. If you are on our alternate list and you decide to play in another tournament you must withdraw from our tournament immediately.

REFUND POLICY:

Players can withdraw themselves online any time before the tournament deadline. For instructions on how to withdraw, click here WITHDRAW . No charge is made before the tournament deadline. AFTER THE DEADLINE HAS PASSED, NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS WILL BE ISSUED IF A PLAYER IS SELECTED AND UNABLE TO PLAY FOR ANY REASON. There will be no refunds or credits issued once a tournament has started and match play has begun. If the tournament doesn't happen wherein no matches are able to be played at all due to inclement weather, or any other unforeseeable event, a refund for the entry fee (minus the processing fee) will be issued.

Written Verification Requirement for Withdrawals Due to Injury, Illness or Personal Circumstance after selections have been made:

• Illness or Injury: The required written verification of an injury or illness must be from a medical professional and must be received by the tournament no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament.

• Personal Circumstance: If the player is withdrawing because of a personal circumstance, the player must deliver a written description of the situation no later than the last scheduled day of the tournament, and the Referee will determine whether the situation is a personal circumstance.

USTA Suspension Points for Withdrawals:

Any withdrawal (other than for previously authorized entry into concurrent tournaments) that does not meet the written verification requirements described above by the last scheduled day of the tournament (and, in the case of personal

circumstances, has also been approved as a personal circumstance by the Referee) will result in the player being levied suspension points, and any match that is not played will be coded as a Default.

USTA National Directive for Withdrawals and Refund

Sportsmanship and the USTA Player Oath: All participants shall familiarize themselves with FRIEND AT COURT , the rules of Tennis. By participating in the tournament, all players agree to abide by the USTA Player Oath: "I recognize that tennis is a sport that places the responsibility for fair play on me. I promise to abide by the rules of the game, which require me to give the benefit of the doubt to my opponent. At all times I shall strive to compete with the true spirit of sportsmanship, recognizing that my behavior on the court is a direct reflection of my character. Whether my matches end with my victory or defeat, I promise to conduct myself in a way that honors my opponents, those who support me, and the game of tennis."

Spectator Oath: All tournament guests, including family members, coaches and other spectators, must adhere to the USTA Spectator Oath: “I pledge to set a positive example for players, treat fellow parents, coaches and officials with respect, emphasize the importance of fair play and good sportsmanship, cheer respectfully for winner and good points - not errors and double faults, allow players to work out on-court disputes, and not interfere with matches.”
