SINGLES SELECTION & SEEDING
This tournament will use a combination of USTA Points Per Round and World Tennis Number (WTN) for player selection and seeding.
Players will be selected for the tournament in the following order:
1 - 27 Players based on the most recent National Standings List (NSL)
2 - 5 Players based on WTN

DOUBLES SELECTION & SEEDING:
Teams will be selected for the tournament using the below process:
1.) Teams that are formed prior to the entry deadline and consist of two selected singles players will be selected for doubles during initial selections. All other teams will be UNPAIRED at this time (see below for additional instructions).
2.) All remaining players that are still interested in playing doubles will need to email the Tournament Director (contact information is found at the bottom of this page). If a player is requesting a specific partner, BOTH players must be copied on the request to the Tournament Director.
3.) Remaining doubles teams will be selected based on the following priority (each priority will be ordered by Combined NSL):
1 - two selected singles players
2 - one selected singles player and one alternate or doubles only player
3 - both alternate singles players or doubles only players
Teams will be seeded for the tournament in the following order:
1 - All seeds done by Combined NSL

POINTS PER ROUND
This tournament carries with it USTA Level 4 points per round for singles and USTA Level 3 points per round for doubles. For more information on ranking points, please click the following link: more info
MATCH SCORING/DRAW SIZE
Feed-in consolation draw (through the Quaterfinals) for singles and single elimination draw for doubles. Semifinal losers will playoff for 3rd and 4th place. All singles matches are best of three tie-break sets with a 10-point tiebreaker in lieu of a 3rd set. Doubles will be an 8-game pro set with a 7-point tiebreaker played at 8 all. Doubles is No Ad Scoring.
ORDER OF PLAY
SATURDAY - 1 round of doubles, 2 rounds of main draw and 1 round of consolation singles. SUNDAY - 2 rounds of doubles, 2 rounds of main draw and 2 rounds of consolation singles. MONDAY - 1 round of doubles, 1 round of main draw, 2 rounds of consolation singles

TOURNAMENT FEES
1) If your credit card has been declined, the tournament director will be reaching out to you, and they will have the option to withdraw you from the competitors' list if you do not respond and communicate with them. 2) No refunds after player selection.
WRITTEN NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR WITHDRAWS
After play starts, any player coded as "Withdrawal" or "Walkover" on the draw sheet must submit written verification (email) regarding the reason for withdrawal. The player should provide a detailed description of the reason for withdrawal, and if the reason is not for INJURY, ILLNESS, PERSONAL CIRCUMSTANCE (Referee shall determine validity and may reach out for additional details), or previously authorized entry into another tournament, the player is subject to the Suspension Point System ( Friend at Court pp. 114-119 ). Written verifications should be emailed to the Tournament Director and/or Referee no later than the last day of the tournament to be considered valid.

PRACTICE COURTS
Practice courts are available but very limited each morning. Reservations are limited to 30 minutes per player for $10/court for the 30 minutes - starting at 7 am Sat and Sun and 730 am Monday. We encourage warming up with other players rather than coaches or parents to save room. Reservations can be made starting February 12th. All practice courts must be prepaid. Call 419-241-2222 to make reservations.

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.
What is a Level 4?
USTA junior tournaments run from Level 7 (local, open to anyone) up to Level 1 (national). Lower number, stronger field, more points. Points run off the round reached, not the draw size: up to 540 ranking points for winning it.
When do we know?
