Klotz Winter Open Tournament will be held Friday, December 11th- Sunday, December 13th.
Registration Deadline is Sunday, December 6th at 4:59p.m.
Draw sizes are limited to 16. Players will be accepted according to the National Standings List and WTN.
SEEDING: WTN will be used for both singles and doubles.
12-16 players, consolation final is not played. 11 or less, consolation final is played.

Scoring format
Main draw singles: 2/3 sets to 6 with tiebreaker to 10 in lieu of 3rd set. Regular scoring.
Consolation singles: 8 game pro set with set tiebreaker to 7 at 8-8. Regular scoring.
Doubles: 8 game pro set with set tiebreak to 7 at 8-8. Regular scoring.
Sportsmanship Award: We will be giving a sportsmanship award to one male and one female player. Please feel free to nominate players by sharing their names with the tournament staff.
Parking: Parking will be enforced only on Friday until 4:30 p.m.
START TIMES:
There might be some larger draws that will need to start early Friday afternoon. Every attempt will be made to limit the amount of time we need to get players out of school. Many draws will need to start late afternoon Friday. We will not know when each draw starts until after registrations close and we have worked on the schedule.

Please register with your partner. If you can't register with your partner please email Brad DiLeo, Email: Bradley-dileo@uiowa.edu with your name and partners name and what divsion you want to be put in for doubles.
Please make an effort to secure your doubles partner even before draws close so you are ready.
You will have an option to be placed in the “blind draw” for doubles. We will then pair you with another person, if possible.
