ADDITIONAL DOUBLES INFORMATION
• you have to play in the same division for singles and doubles
• it is your responciblity to find a partner
• we will add you to the RANDOM PARTNER Drawing if you email us
• after Selection we will allow more late doubles entry requests by email until Tuesday, May 5 at 9AM
• you can always check your doubles status on the home page by seeing if your partner is in parenthesis next to your name
BASIC TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
• Singles will be a 32 draw with consolation from rounds 32 and 16
• Singles will also have a 5-8 playoff and 3rd place playoff
• Singles will play 2 out of 3 sets with a 10 point tie breaker for the 3rd set
• Doubles will be a 16 draw single elimination
• Doubles will play 8 game pro sets
• YOU MUST PLAY IN THE SAME AGE DIVISION FOR SINGLES AND DOUBLES
• We will have a trainer and a stringer available
• Lunch will be provided on Saturday for all players
THE SCHEDULE PLAN(WEATHER PERMITTING)
• Saturday: 2 rounds of singles and doubles
• Sunday: finish doubles and 2 rounds of singles
• Monday: finish the tournament
Junior Player Travel Assistance
USTA Alabama offers financial assistance to eligible junior players (ages 12–18) competing in Alabama and Southern team events. Applicants must be Alabama residents and meet income eligibility requirements. Funding of up to $750 is available to help cover travel-related expenses such as fuel, lodging, meals, and tournament entry fees. Awards are considered on a case-by-case basis and require proper documentation of expenses.

If you have already completed the waiver form but did not have a partner at the time the waiver was completed, log in to Match Tennis App to edit your waiver and add your doubles partner details by going to My Account>Completed Waivers>Tournament Name>Add Partner Details>Click Update.

To Find a Doubles Partner, follow these steps:
• Click the link above to complete the MANDATORY tournament waiver.
• Create a FREE account or log in to Match Tennis App by clicking the link above.
• Search for and click on our tournament details page inside of Match Tennis App.
• Click the “Find A Doubles Partner” button and add your player’s name to the doubles list.
• Then contact and be contacted by others looking for a doubles partner.
Once a partner is secured, you MUST add your partner details to your waiver form by logging into Match Tennis App and going to My Account>Completed Waivers>Tournament Name>Add Doubles Partner Details>Click Update.
The doubles pairing service is privatized through Match Tennis App, so you do NOT have to share any personal contact info with others unless you choose to do so!

Will my junior get in?
No draw is full yet. Selection runs off the ranking list when entries close, and it runs differently at different levels, so whether a junior gets in depends on where they sit in this field. Add their USTA ID and we will tell you.
What is a Level 5?
A district-level event. Bigger draws, ranking matters for selection, points per win are higher than Level 6. Points run off the round reached, not the draw size: up to 300 ranking points for winning it.
When do we know?
Selections post after entries close (Mon, May 3, 4:59pm CDT). Draws usually post the week of the tournament. Text Coach Ace and we will tell you the moment either one lands.
