MATCH PLAY & WEATHER UPDATES
• Main draw matches will be played on the clay courts whenever possible.
• In the event of inclement weather, some consolation matches may be moved to hard courts .
• Players should closely monitor text messages from the tournament desk for schedule updates, court changes, or instructions regarding possible use of the indoor courts.
TOURNAMENT WAIVER
All players must have a completed waiver on file to participate.

PRACTICE COURTS
Friday (Before Tournament)
• Complimentary clay court practice is available by reservation.
• Call 334-501-2920 to reserve a court.
Saturday & Sunday
• No practice will be permitted on the clay courts once tournament play begins.
• Outdoor hard courts at Yarbrough Tennis Center will be available for practice beginning at 7:00 a.m. , as court availability allows.

• Check in at the Tournament Desk , located on the back porch of the Clay Courts Building .
• Players may check in up to 30 minutes prior to their scheduled match time .
• Please check in when you are ready to play.

PLAYER AND SPECTATOR BEHAVIOR:
- Only the PLAYERS or an OFFICIAL may make a call during a match. No one else may become involved in making calls or settling disputes. Only the player may request the help of an official. Any attempt by a spectator speaking to an official regarding a line call or ruling during match play may be a cause for immediate removal.
- Any spectator behavior deemed unacceptable toward a player, another spectator, or staff member is cause for immediate removal. If behavior is directed towards a player, either before, during or after a match, it could result in a suspension of that spectator's right to attend.
- Refusal to adhere to a removal request will trigger immediate enforcement of the Point Penalty System against the player with whom the spectator is associated.
• The referee/acting referee is the sole judge of unacceptable behavior... Removal is not subject to appeals.
DEFAULT NO-SHOW POLICY
Players are expected to play all matches including main draw and consolation. It is mandatory to notify the tournament director in written communication (via email) that a player needs to withdraw. Failure to notify the Tournament Director via email will receive a “Default No-Show” and 5 suspension points per the USTA Suspension Point System (USTA Regulations IV.F.)
Default for refusal to play or continue to play (for reasons other than illness, injury, or personal circumstances) will result in 5 suspension points.
Players may only register in one age division , and players that choose to play singles and doubles must play singles and doubles in the same age division .
Registration closes on Sunday, Aug. 15, 2027, at 4:59 pm (CST) . A player may NOT be accepted to any event after the registration deadline IF they should affect seeding. Acceptance of any other late entries is at the tournament director's discretion. If a player would like to be considered for late entry, an email should be sent to mshaver@auburnalabama.org with the player's USTA number and division(s) the player wishes to enter. Late entries will only be considered until Monday (prior to tournament start) at 6 pm.
LEVEL 6: Maximum of 16 player draws. If more than 16 players register, and permission is granted by the ATA office, the draws will be split when more than 17 players are registered. Draws will be split using the waterfall method.
Selections are made from top-down by ranking. Seeding uses the most recently published National Combined Standing Lists.
