Event Schedule
• Check-In: In person, at Tournament Director desk, 30 minutes before match time (we are not using match tennis app)
• Matches Begin: 8:00AM sharp!
• Players will be groups for Round Robin
Match Format
• One set, first to 6 games, 7 points tied break at 6-6
• No warm up, match starts when players get on court
• Draw size: • 12U Draw Size: 12 on clay courts
• 14U Draw size: 12 on clay courts
• 18U Draw Size: 8 on hard courts
• Selection Criteria: "Bottom up" Selections, meaning players with no ranking or lower rankings will be selected first
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Wednesday, Sep 23rd @ 5:59pm, prior to tournament start date
Late entries may be accepted IF they do not affect seeding and are ultimately at the discretion of the tournament director, a Late Fee may be applied.
Refund:
Players can withdraw themselves before the tournament deadline for a full refund. Once that deadline has passed, no refunds will be given, with the exception of inclement weather or any other unforessen event which would cause the tournament to be canceled
WITHDRAWAL: If you need to withdraw before entries close , you must do so online. Click on USTA account: "Edit Registration," then "Withdraw." You will need your original confirmation number. You should also send TEXT to the tournament director.
WITHDRAWALS
All withdrawals after "Entries Close" must be sent BOTH in writing via email (to the Tournament Director's address: thzzthzz@gmail.com) AND by phone to the tournament site 704-421-3845. Information needed: Name, Age division (B12U) reason for withdrawal. Players withdrawing after the tournament deadline will not be refunded the entry fee.

• USTA REGULATIONS STATE THE FOLLOWING: A Player shall not enter two tournaments at the same time. When entries close, a player shall not be entered in two or more sanctioned tournaments, if any part of the tournaments overlap unless each Tournament Committee involved understands the situation and concurs in writing. After a player has been eliminated from a tournament whose schedule of play partially overlaps with that of a second tournament, the player may enter the second tournament. (USTA REGULATIONS IV.C. • PAYMENT! If a player has not submitted payment prior to the draw and match schedules being made, the Tournament Director has the right to withdraw the player.

ONE-DAY EVENT: Level 7s are to be sanctioned for 1 day.
SELECTIONS: Non-ranked to ranked or “Bottom Up”, which means players who have no standing in the points per round ranking system will get selected first above players who have a standing.
• Seeding is to be completed by using the most recent published National Standings List. (Seeds are placed in position based on the rules in the Friend at Court). All other players are placed randomly in draws.
SINGLES SCORE FORMAT: One standard tiebreak set to 6, 7-point tiebreak at 6 games all.
SINGLES DRAW TYPE: Will be one of the following based on number of registrations- Round Robin, Round Robin with playoff, Compass
• May be determined by number of registrations to ensure players receive at minimum 3 matches and if possible 4.
• 16 draw limits for singles in all age groups (TD may increase the draw limit once permission is granted by the STATE OFFICE with proof of adequate number of courts available)
